Metamorphosis-One is Jazz music composer and player.
He record about 4 chorus voicing with himself and
arrange all genre music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Hitoshi Satoh,pianist,arrenger,composer;born at Sobue City,Nakashima,Aichi,Japan,April 2,1955 .
He had piano lessons from about 6 age,and he spended to listen to Beatles in Childhood. He liked Brothers Four too and played chorus with his brother(Shin b. In 1953) and friends.
He copied chorus part and teaches part melody to other member.
He tried to Jeff Beck's Cover Band in schoolday and sung Rock vocal. And he belonged to Jazz Big band circle in Univ. He loves Count Basie,Thad Jones....
He longed for singing with piano like Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder at 21 age,and got how to.
He played singing and playing the piano at Akasaka's Music lounge Popo.
After Univ,he became Computer Engineer and Music life was sleeping.
He stoped to play the piano in long time(about 20years).
But after He bought Midi in 1998, his music spirits waked up.
He made One-man band "Metamorphosis-One" and started to make his music.
He began to make original songs and released his songs by Internet.
In May,2002,he joined mp3.com.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I only play music on the internet.
Because my band is myself.
But I now consider how to play myself on live.
