Meson-K is a band from Johnson City, New York, catagorized as a "sophistocated punk" with desperate vocals who are here to rock you! Their first album, "Dark Imaginings" is a 7-song EP that is currently going on sale.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We try to play live as much as possible. For our whole 4 years of being together, we've really only played at school functions. We love it, and we're really trying to work on some cool things to do live! Some special moments is when we play our version of "Wipeout," our drummer, Mike, is known to get up off his drums and find the nearest garbage can to play the famous Wipeout drum solo.
Your musical influences
Wow....definetly Weezer, AFI, Metallica, Blink-182, New Found Glory, Nirvana, Pearl Jam...any songs we think are cool are our musical influence!
What equipment do you use?
LOTS OF SCHECTER! Schecter guitars and basses, Marshall guitar amps, Gallien-Kruoger bass amps, Shure PA's, Tama drums and Zildian/Sabian cymbals. (Also a Korg piano in "step x step")
Anything else?
We're hear to rock you. Not to make you feel incompetent. We're here for YOUR entertainment. We don't want to brag, but we feel our music is well....good. Its not too hard, not too soft, juuuust right! Hope you like it!
