MESA MUSIC
I'm MESA, I've been making music since 2013, starting from small time projects, to working on individual releases now.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started back in seattle around 2013, working on my own tracks for fun, and eventually released some of my songs online, eventually leading to my debut on Spotify and iTunes in 2015.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've never live performed, but am always eager to, gives me a good chance to break stage fright, as after all I always live improv all of my tracks to make them easier for live performance!
Your musical influences
I was highly inspired by the likes of Haywyre, Eliderp, Grant, WRLD, and other Monstercat artists, Monstercat really inspired me throughout 2014 to now, listening to them always makes me feel like I'm in another world!
What equipment do you use?
I usually operate on a laptop, good for on the go producing, and mostly produce by headphone listening, because who doesn't listen to their songs through headphones? it also allows me to listen to the finer details I put in my music.
