Merj is hard rock at its finest with slight hardcore, punk, classic, progressive, and psychedelic rock influences.Band/artist history
Merj started with the splitting and merging of the aggressive, yet ambient, hard-rocking band Oniero, and the soft-spoken, progressive-minded Desert Named Peace. The trio Sean Litel, Sean Martin, and Karl Summers from Desert Named Peace teamed up with the vocalist of Oniero, Jack LaVey, to create a unique blend known as Merj. "The Perfect Aren't Worth It (Walk Away)," "Mr. Biskers," and "Collapse," can all be found on YouTube and are original Merj material. Seventh Inning Stretch is the last song Desert Named Peace ever wrote.Have you performed in front of an audience? We frequent "The Legacy" in Terra Haute, IN, the Carmel Performing Arts Center, as well as various bars throughout Indy.
