Rarely is there a voice as distinct and memorable as that of the lead vocalist in this group. Meredith Bird sports a silky, soft yet powerful voice that is backed by Mike Halpin, Dan Flenniken and Todd Lowther, who make of the Valley Boys on this collection of originals and covers .
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
This group emerged from a touring school group in 1973 called the Sing Sang Have Sung Singers, recreating as the No Name Band, featuring the core of the current four band members since 1982. The members now spread from Atlanta GA to Grand Junction CO so live performances are rare but still an option if the price is right.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live mostly in the Colorado Rockies for special charitable events.
