The Men of the House, aka MOTH, is a two-member-band who love and enjoy making their own concept in music. The band started in the early 90s and just last year, MOTH produced their maiden complete CD with their original songs. Some of the songs were made in the late 80s, however; such songs came close to the hearts of the listening public nowadays in a more appealing mood. The album is consists of six (6) OPM songs written & composed by Buddy in the early 90s. Last year, the band, has finally decided to start fulfilling its dreams. The MOTH CD production was later on came to green and song arrangements commenced, it turned out to be a good initial phase of the project. The songs were digitally-mastered, thus the CD itself is generally a finished product for replication.
The songs are generic love songs of the Pop & Pop Rock genre and one particular song fall in the category of Jazzy tune. The music are easy and nice to the ears and with appealing lyrics too. Presently, MOTH is busy working on their new songs... songs that were mostly kept for long inside their old school vault.
Band/artist history
In the early 90s, Buddy and Rey were employed as engineers by a private company engaged in Electric Power generation in Navotas. They eventually became close friends and learned later on that they both share a common interest and love for Music.
For years, they dream that someday they will produce their own album and that their music will be heard and enjoyed by many.
Their band, Men of the House, gets its first hand live audience experience in 1994 somewhere in Quezon City and the rest is, indeed, history. Buddy and Rey realized that they can do both Engineering Management and MUSIC and have fun!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
MOTH play live in parties, shows and gigs - mostly for free, because of various friends and relatives requests. Basically, these live performances are just hobbies for Men of the House because Buddy and Rey are fulltime Engineers and Project Managers (who happened to love music as well). Get it?
