I started playing guitar at a very young age and by the time I was 10 years old my cousin Roy Meave and I were doing a few gigs in our home town Weslaco Tx. Roy played the accordion and I played the guitar and we both sang. By the time we were starting High School we had our own rock band and continued to gain experience and knowledge and got paid for playing gigs. In the late 70's I toured around with several other rock bands in a bigger venue and worked most night clubs in Dallas Tx, Oklahoma & Louisiana. In the late 90's I settled down in Kokomo Indiana where I founded the Doc Pedro Band. The Doc Pedro Band was a blues latin jazz rock band. We did cover tunes and lots of my original music. The Doc Pedro Band took best original song in a battle of the bands contest. Later on went on to open up for the Southern Rock Allstars with former Blackfoot & Molly Hatchet members with a special appearance by Mike Estes guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. My most recent CD was "Red Wine & Jazz Junkie". New CD is Dreams & Desires.
