markku's SoundClick blog - doesn't look good
anytime someone tells you that shoving a camera up your urethra won't hurt is a liar. Even tho it was to have been numbed, by the time it got in to my bladder, it hurt like hell. Fortunately, the bladder was okay. I bled for days afterwards.

The CT scan showed much more which also included my heart, lungs, stomach and the rest of my plumbing parts. Yup, I'm screwed. Not only do I end up with problems with the prostate but cancer has spread to my lungs and there seems to be a an aneurysmal dilation of the aorta which obviously can lead to a heart attack. Course of attack has not been determined yet by my doctor nor a final prognosis, however, after losing both of my parents a while back and my sister to cancer about a month ago, I can see the end results.

I feel like too much of this is happening I'm 25 but prostate cancer seems too common amongst men ,, and what a process.

Hope you better health and ask you what tips would you give to a younger version of yourself?

prostate cancer can sneak up on a guy without him realizing it. At first there are no symptoms and then when they show up, doctors seem to take forever before diagnosing it making the matter even more painful. It's been 5 months already since I first reported some issues to my doctor. All that has been done thus far is a PSA test and a CTU scan and some meds prescribed in trying to shrink the balloon size prostate. When you hit 50 get yourself tested...a psa is a good start but not definite. CTU scan will also be needed before going on to a biopsy.

I had an extremely bad day actually..if you've ever had a Charlie horse that lasted maybe a few seconds or so, think about one lasting 12 hours in the groin area.

Don't give up on doctors quite yet as you will need to weed out the ones that are arrogant know-it-alls who will tell you as they poke you in the testicles that it doesn't hurt. I've been on earth for 68 years and have been weeding out lousy doctors for years, still am. Got an appointment Tuesday and if he doesn't want to listen, I'm moving on. I actually prefer doctors with some experience (older) as they have seasoned throughout the years and are willing to listen and spend time with their patients. The one's I currently have are young with an attitude. I don't need that!

From what I'm reading between the lines, I'm detecting that you may be having some issues yourself. Here are some issues that I can remember for signs: frequent urination, strong foul urine smell, pain in the groin, bladder testicles and penis, blood or discoloration of urine with or without visibility of blood, reduced flow, prostate pain, slight or high fever. Some of those symptoms are also included in a urinary tract infection. The only way to find out is running a test of a sample by doctor/lab. When mine came out as negative, I had a feeling that it was more.

Prostate issues can hit a person your age and up. Mine probably began when I was about your age. I was in denial and ignored the symptoms and sure enough here I am.
