I play guitars . . . electric, acoustic and bass. I also play rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing as best as I can . . . I record direct onto Adobe Audition 1.5 (formerly Cool Edit) from a Pod version 2.0.
All the music that I create by myself, goes by the name of Major Snagg, and the music I co-create with my musical collaborator, Tony Webster, is Big Sleep.
The Valiant B's section, is a secret dark corner for the music I find harder to put a label on ! Acoustic, Ambient and other 'experimental creations' live here. . . Recordings made for the now closed, but none-the-less brilliant site that was The Coconut Blues Club. Oh Jude and Bobby . . .
When Pirates Ruled The Airwaves: Ok pop pickers, this new album is available as a FREE down load for you to enjoy. Make up a CD but remember to leave no time gaps between any of the tracks. The commercials link the song and enhance the enjoyment so don't miss them out . Enjoy ...David

Aint No Love in the Heart of the City is probably the easier one, I used to be able to do it....but that was years ago!! You should give it a go, it would be nice to see you give Coverdale a run for his money. I was watching Gillan & the remaining Deep Purple members on TV the other night...always loved their stuff. My all time fav drummer is Ian Paice...now there's a guy you'd swap your drum machine for, lol!

Oh yes...Aint No Love in the Heart of the City...I know that one, great song and Coverdale gives it some real soul and vocal range. I always felt he sounded a lot like Paul Rodgers in that song (my fav vocalist), so I really liked the way he handled that song.

Whitesnake!!!? Wow you've set yourself a task there! I'll be expecting some David Coverdale vocals, lol! He has quite a voice. Turn it up to 11... smile :)

From what I remember of the 80's the bands were ok...it was some of the production that let it down. Things got very synthetic and they tended to overdo the reverb a bit - there were these massive digital walls of sound that were way over the top. I suppose they had all kinds of new technology easily available to them, so they felt they had to use it...ALL of it, lol! By the 90's I noticed things had gone back to a more earthy, cleaner sound.

Go on...I dare you to do a Police number!! big grin :D

Nope....not heard Taste of Your Tears and I don't the band either! I think I have a bit of a void when it comes to the '80s..that was around the time I was up in London, working silly hours and my music got put on the back burner. I kind of bailed out in the late 70's and resurfaced in the 90's, lol. Looks like I'll have to go back and rediscover the 80s!
