Title: Parisien Mistress
Hi I'm Falken
I have played guitar since I was 13 years old. Always having my guitar in reach... played with different bands mostly for the money

You are doing back flips in your backyard on gymnastic equipment Falch? If so you should post a video for us to see.

Thank you for checking out "Sensor" - very cool of you.

Just had to say congrats on making #1 in both Jazz charts. I agree with Al the mix is tremendous. Read you now use JBL monitors which obviously has made a difference. Monitoring is definitely in the top 2 things in mixing music that is the most important (room treatment being the 1st). I speak as i trained as an sound engineer some 20+ years ago. But making music is what i enjoy the most these days. And i see you use T- Rack mastering too. Never used that software suite but have heard great things about it.

Regards, Keith.

Hi Falken -
Listened to "Parisien Mistress" a few more times. It continues to sound amazing each any every time. The sax "Fishman" is off the charts.smile :) The mix as I said before in awesome in my opinion. The low end has added that depth and upfront energy impact.
So, you got new JBL monitors huh? Really cool. You can tell the different with this work as compared to previous tracks. You constantly take your songs to the next level to which we (listeners) are very appreciative.

PS - what T-Rex mastering tools do you use? I've been using the suite for years now.

Also, thanks for the kudos about "Transmutation". Real cool of you.
Have a great weekend.
Best Regards,

Thanks for that link - I had never heard of 20 yr old Marcus King. I also listened to some more of his videos including his rig rundown :

What a great talent!

Always a pleasure my friend! It does take a little time to get use to any change in equipment you are used to, but hands down the new tune sounds great! It has always been a thrill to go to a gig that furnishes back line equipment and try and see if I can get all of the sounds I need out of it...there is always a challenge waiting somewhere...lol

Hi Falken - I played the song a few times focusing on the low end. I think it sounded great in my opinion. Full and rich. Of course I love a healthy low end...smile :)

Talk soon.

Hi Falken!
It is always a great day when you post a new one my friend!!!
I mean that the switch to the Studio Monitors made your work better, perhaps you will have to "get used" to the sound of them ( just like I had to do with mine ), but after that, you will get an "ear" for the right mix. I am sure of it!

Enjoy your week my friend, and please be careful on your next "Fishing Trip" eh!? wink ;) wink ;)

Cheers, -Spin-

Thanks so much Falch - very much appreciated. I've been listening to a lot of Warren Haynes, Sonny Landreth and Derek Trucks lately. You can drink beer, I drink coffee or water mostly.

Have a good week!
