I am of the belief that music is about ideas more than it is about technical prowess on an instrument. As a bass player, I sometimes find it difficult to explain what I want to other musicians. I started using Band In A Box for that reason. It made it possible to do rough 'work tapes' of my songs to share with artists and other musicians.
