Baskyl is a sound-bender, a music project, a sonic appproach, an experiment. Working on computer in cyberspace, the persona around Baskyl doesn't really matter. Age? Gender? Nationality?...who cares? All tracks are produced at home in the quiet hours between 11pm and 1am. (Sometimes it's much later than that...) Interesting how things change, start to move, take a different focus, get a vibrant flow. The result is never calculated - and always surprising (at least I am astounded, everytime)....
I'm a musician from Liverpool, England and have been playing guitar since I was 16, playing live since 18. I've traditionally concentrated on live work but recently started to develop an interest in computer recording. I still try to keep as much of a live feel as possible with my music, trying to record songs in such a way that the recordings and live versions sound as similar as possible.
