Jason Coffman began recording as anaphylaxis in 1994. His first releases were distributed via tape trading, with his first self-released cd (component) coming out in 1999. After a series of cd-r releases on his own anaphylactic shock recordings imprint, Coffman re-issued his catalog through Mannequin Oddio Media from 2002 through 2004.
