Melodic emo-core band from Southern Oklahoma. Burning January is a moody mixture of melody, screaming, catchy hooks, and floating guitars. Like many of the bands in this new rising genre of 'whatever'-core, the band is heavily dependent on their live show to capture and display their sound and presence.

We sound like spedup Weezer with a strong Ramones and pop influnence This band is what I want to hear in music. I want music that is radio-friendly, yet distinct to my taste. We've created pop-punk-rock music that, at its core, stems from a love of the Ramones and classic pop/rock acts like the Beach Boys or the Beatles, but hopefully goes even further than that.
Punk, Rock, Emo, sunday evening drive, music, pop punk, columbia, missouri Welp.. it goes like this. Dru Hensley and Adam Rolfes started playing together in early summer of 2003. It started off with them playing some original songs that Dru had wrote over the years. The style was pretty similar to Dashboard Confessional.
