My name is Jan S Johansen, I'm a Norwegian songwriter/lyricist who collaborate with songwriters and artist both in the US and UK. I have songs recorded by British, Danish and American artists. In 2003 and 2004 I was nominated to Poet of the year by the Poet Society in the US and in august 2003 was inducted as International Poet of Merit by the Poet Society.
Singer/Songwriter, recording artist Brian became part of the Vancouver Island music scene soon after moving to Nanaimo in 1991. He spent a few years doing pub & party cover gigs until he discovered the Nanaimo Songwriters Circle in 1998. From that point on he has been pursuing the craft of songwriting and collaboration.
