Fundamentals of Repsycheling Gas Tank Orchestra features a wide range of instruments including strings, reeds, horns, and percussion, all constructed with discarded automobile gas tanks from the streets of New Orleans by Artist/Musician/Scientist Gregory Wildes. GTO is an orchestra improvising with improvised instruments. GTO performed as a band for several years and now continues as a sample library available through BigFishAudio.com.
Born and bred in Zimbabwe, I was drawn by the African rhythms that eminated from the townships of Bulawayo. I taught myself how to play bass guitar and percussion and spent my time jamming with the local musicians. In 1976 I left Zimbabwe for Cape Town, South Africa where I persued my musical ambitions.
