My set up goes as follows:  Acid Pro 4.0, mp3s and some drum one-shots for my sound library, and all mixed down with my sony mdr-v500 headphones.  THAT'S IT.
NO SYNTHS/VST INST, MIDI CONTROLLERS/PADS, DRUM MACHINES, OR ANY OTHER SOFTS OR HARDWARE!
