A Square Peg in the Round Hole of the Blues Papa Joe Grappa is a square peg in the round hole of the blues. He is a guitarist who writes and sings topical blues inthe Los Angeles area. He's played clubs in New York, London, Paris, Memphis, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. In the daytime, he is head writer for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, under the pseudonym Joe Medeiros
is punctuated by the moaning guitar work of blues guru Dave McGuire and driven by a hypnotic rhythm section comprised of some of Australia's best jazz/blues specialists. Add to the mix Lana's sometimes sweet, sometimes guttural vocal performance and the result is blues with both grit and sparkle.
