I had a lot of spare time summer of 2006 and played around with Audacity (I don't recommend it, but it is free) and a Shure microphone that sure doesn't pick up a lot (sorry I had to...), wrote a few songs and recorded a few experiments.  When was written and recorded in August '08 on that same setup.
