I was the lead guitar player for the String-A-Longs in the late 1950s and early 1960s.  We scored a major hit with a song I composed entitled 'Wheels.'  After the String-A-Longs broke up, I continued to write and perform for a time with the Cobras, Jimmy Torres Trio and other entities  But I 'disappeared' after becoming disillusioned
