We are the band Black Ascaris from a suburb of Chichgo, Illinois, even though it says we are Metal, it is hard to put a title on what we play. We have influences from bands such as underOATH, to OPETH, to slipknot, to indie bands like muse, and radiohead. What we are for sure is a hard driving open minded group of musicians who write and play the music they love to listen to.
