I am the daughter of Danny Horton, known on here as dead water monk. I grew up with him always having a studio. I remember in Garland, tx he made a drum set from pans. Smartest person ever. I don't care what you friendship was, my dad is gone now I'd love to learn anything about him. Of coarse bc now he's not here

So sorry to hear of your father Danny's passing... I liked his demeanor in our exchanges of messages, he did come across as a 'good guy' and he was also entertaining in his replies to me.

I posted Till We Meet Again had a good long crySee you lost your dad around the same month of October of 2022 I lost my momma October 12 3 days before my birthday…… when I lost my dad I asked your dad if I could add to his instrumental which he named till we meet again…….. it was an honor to work with your dad…… I was mystified by the name he used as an artist………dead water monk……..Danny was so cool to work with on colabs I did two because then later I could not contact him I wondered what happened to him wondered if he was alright….he’s in a far better place than this world…….no more pain nor suffering……you never stop missing them it’s such an ache……. She’s given me so much confirmation she’s still within hearts length……..(my mama) I’m certain he’s so close to you….. the impact of that one song I did Till we meet again it haunts me every time I hear it……..

We did two songs I loved immense I wrote the lyrics to Until We Meet Again and Down the Rabbit Hole…… I’ll see if I can find them and I’ll post…so very sorry for your loss… I know your pain… I lost my daddy too…. To Alzheimer’s and dimentia….. what got him was lung cancer and c.o.p.d……..

I loved Deadwater monks talent……. I’m so sorry for your loss…. He was a wonderful artist on soundclick…….pleased to meet you welcome to soundclick…. I lost my mother I was also her caregiver..she was my best friend……still grieving…… I’m so sorry to hear he’s passed…….
Amanda, so sorry to hear that your dad "Danny" has passed away! It was an honor to have been able to create music with him. Many of us here on SC missing his creativity he shared with us ALL.
