Greetings, Andrew, and thank you for taking time to listen to 'Eternity' plus your intelligent comments.
Just for your information, here is why I called the piece by that name:
I was inspired by the story a Sydney man, Arthur Malcolm Stace also known as 'Mr. Eternity' (9 February 1885 – 30 July 1967), who for many years left the word 'Eternity' written in chalk on buildings, footpaths, stairwells etc.
So the piece is dedicated to 'Mr. Eternity' whose story inspired me, it's also dedicated to the members of my own family who have passed into 'Eternity'.
I didn't try to depict eternity as such and I agree, it probably cannot be done anyway.
It is also on the 'Tube' on video with some very old family photos you may find interesting.

I hope you and your have a peaceful and happy Christmas and good health in 2024.

Hi Andrew. I just saw your post on Mauri Berg's page, about how you chose very early on to follow your own head when making music instead of trying to please the need of others. I can so much relate to that! The most satisfying way to create music, is to follow whatever idea comes into your head and just go for it - to try out different approaches and instruments and see if you can make it work . There lies the power and pleasure of making music! :0)

Greetings, Andrew, and all the best for 2023, may it bring good things your way.
Thank you so much for taking the time with my work, and commenting.
With that piano part I tried to do something different, 'outside the box' kind of thing and partially succeeded.
I'm not a trained musician so I write and record, not to any formula, just stuff I think sounds ok.
And you are perfectly right about this piece not being written for a wider audience. I just thought I'd put down something that appeals to me, and I had a lot of fun doing it.
I'm still working on the second half of this monster and will let you know when it's here on SC.
Please don't feel obliged to spend your time on it but I would appreciate it.
Your knowledgeable comments are valuable to me.
All the best to you, my friend, in these troubled times. :)

Wow, this is like getting caught in a landslide, amazing stuff. I could go on but I'll make it short and sharp, wonderful musicianship, Andrew.
I have a new piece here: https://soundclick.com/r/s8n7t1
It's rather long 10 mins. but hopefully engaging enough to keep the listener interested.
You impression of it would be nice, if you have the time.
Please keep doing what you do although you make me feel like giving it away... ;)
Keep well.
Thanks for stopping by Andrew - peace.
