Figurz was born in Rovno, Ukraine former U.S.S.R. and moved to America in 1988 when I was 6 months old and currently live there. I began writing rhymes/lyrics to instumentals since middle school. My brothers were fans of gangsta rap and as I grew up I liked listening to my brothers Cd collection of Eminem, Tupac, 50 Cent etc. My interest in rap stayed with me as I grew older, the desire grew. I first started was just for fun trying to freestyle with my friends and after a while I took it seriously. Before I knew how to produce my own music and rap, I was taught by Alex aka Avus, my older brother at first but then by Roman aka Crome Rome, my childhood friend. Later on by High School, I met Niko from Moldova & Tyreezy from chicago and teamed up and started a group, called United Mob. Began practicing drunk with friends on a tape karaoke machine at a Niko's apartment to finally recording sober in my mom's basement. United Mob put out 2 worldly mix tapes and finally parted their ways. Niko became a married and started his family and tyreezy got locked up for a crime. I continued to write and record songs without them, I didn't want to kill my dream and passion because of them, so I finished a few of my own mix tapes.
After a near-death experience in 2008 I stopped recording, became sick with a enlarged heart (cardiomyopathy/became twice as big as normal) and Grave's disease (overactive thyroid, in which had to do an ablation/kill my thyroid & now take hormone pills) and took some time off to heal and recover. But by the grace of God, he came back and found out that his song writing abilities had improved through his trials and tribulations. Surrendered his life to Jesus in the Abbot heart hospital before having LVAD surgery. Basically had to wear batteries for a year and half to help my heart pump better but by the grace of God I received a heart transplant on October 27th 2013, from a 45 year old male form Nebraska. Since then been doing cardiac rehab and trying to put my life back together with the Lord's guidance. Trying to serve God through the passion and desires He has given me. Preaching the Gospel at my church when I can, and preaching the Good News through this music. Who knows how long I am going to live but while I still live I will give God all the glory and praise for everything has done for me. May my life be a living testimony of His love, grace mercy and hope that comes from having a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I hope and pray my music may help and encourage someone to seek the Lord, for there is no one greater and better than Him! No matter who you are or what you have done in your life, God loves you and will forgive you if you repent of your sins and believe the Gospel.
"What is the gospel?" Answer: The word gospel means “good news,” so the gospel of Christ is the good news of His coming to provide forgiveness of sins for all who will believe (Colossians 1:14; Romans 10:9). Since the first man’s sin, mankind has been under the condemnation of God (Romans 5:12). Because everyone breaks God’s perfect law by committing sin (Romans 3:23), everyone is guilty (Romans 5:18). The punishment for the crime of sin is physical death (Romans 6:23) and then an eternity spent in a place of punishment (Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:46). This eternal separation from God is also called the “second death” (Revelation 20:14–15).
The bad news that all are guilty of sin and condemned by God is countered by the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. God, because of His love for the world, has made a way for man to be forgiven of their sins (John 3:16). He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take the sins of mankind on Himself through death on a cross (1 Peter 2:24). In placing our sin on Christ, God ensured that all who will believe in the name of Jesus will be forgiven (Acts 10:43). Jesus’ resurrection guarantees the justification of all who believe (Romans 4:25).
