Josiah Genesis is a white rapper from Omaha, Nebraska. Josiah First started making music at the age of 14 under the name Knite Ryda', but later dropped that name and went with one closer to his own. He was heavily influenced by Eminem, Dr.Dre, 50 cent, Tech Nine, and Royce da 5'9. He produces all his own instrumentals and does his own engineering from his home studio which he put together via pirated programs and dated equipment. Josiah Genesis grew up with a single mother who had a hard time making ends meet and moved from one neighborhood to another. The majority of his life was spent in North Omaha. Which is known for its string of violent crimes and lower income families. Josiah Genesis uses his experiences from his past to shape his future through his art of music. He hopes to one day own his own label and provide a direct source for local musicians to enter the industry.
