In 2007, God began to lead Cheryl (born May 21, 1966) to share her personal journey through some challenging times by writing and producing her debut project, “God Knows.”
At the age of 45 Cheryl completed her first album. Her message to others is to never give up on your dreams no matter how long it takes. God has a plan and purpose for everyone no matter how big or small. Just trust God for the season and time for it to be fulfilled.
Her songs bring appeasement to the mind, body, soul and spirit; with a smooth, soothing, and pleasant sound along with beautiful vocals through inspiration and encouragement of God's faithfulness. Her ultimate desire is to bring Glory to God in everything she does.
Cheryl is the happily married wife of 18 years to Willie Washington and the mother of two beautiful girls Keyerra and Faith. Her first ministry is to her family who she loves and adores!!!
Cheryl was blessed to be background vocalist for Michael Bolton, Stephanie Dotson, and Marie Brown. In this capacity she has ministered at Desperate for Jesus Women’s Conference of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and First Lady Conference with Dr. Lois Evans. She debuted her album,” God Knows” on KHVNam Heaven 97 Home Growngospel in Dallas, Texas November 2011.
