TONEY is a risk taking artist wielding a bold swing of unique roots music. His track brushes with world influences rooted deeply in the soul of blues fueled by a rock & roll energy and electronic synthesizers. With this lethal combination, tasty guitar playing and singing filled with raw emotion, Toney wins over fans every where he goes.
His third solo release, Born to Live Free, delivers ten songs penned by Toney. Released on his own Baby Deer Recording label, the music landscape stretches from a soulful upbeat approach with songs like "Empty", to a gritty distortion filled roots-blues with "Explode", onto blues-rock anthems such as the title track, "Born to Life Free". The album was produced from the ground up by Toney as he performed all instruments on the recording excluding piano on the ballad, "Miss You".
