I always had a passion for all types of music. I became interested in producing it my first year at Niagara Falls High School. The first day I attended Draw&Design Class, I was one of the first to arrive besides two skater kids. I sat across the room and as the room filled up I noticed the segregation of races. I was the only white dude on the "dark side" which is good since I have little in common with skater kids. A rapper sat next to me started talkin about all of these music production programs. At the time I knew little of computers, however I was very interested in the conversation. All of us became good friends. DNA was, or maybe still is their group. Funny guys they'd always pull "its cuz we're black" on our teacher who was black herself. She'd come back sayin "Kyles white, don't play that." Phill would say "He smokes like a black man."
All jokes aside I was learinig a great deal about rap. Not that is was new to me, but I was still green in the arts of lyrical engineering. Rap used to be more than just music. It was a lifestyle with a history of roots. Now it's mostly about the beats n hooks. Not to say there isn't good rappers, But when you turn on the radio and you hear shiiiit and you think the crappy song on your cd shoud be played in it's place. It will piss you off. So I started making beatz where the creativity begins. I couldn't get anyone to rap to my expectation so I figure if you want it done right u know the rest.
