Born in Yuma Arizona in 1983, the half black, half Latina singer fell in love with poetry and the art of singing at a young age. With her mother having a strong foundation in the church she found an outlet through singing and performing in a youth church trio and learned to turn poetry into song at age 12. She has emerged 13 years later and is ready to bring the world her first album set to be released May 2010. With her influences ranging from Sade to Gladys Knight, and from Michael Jackson to R Kelly, her sultry unmistakable voice brings forth a brand new sound all her own.
