Jake Jukas, after taking some time away from performing, resurfaced in 2008 to write was was to be material for a solo venture. Several songs went to reform the Tampa Bay area Rock/Metal band Hagas. During writing sessions Jake has chosen material for a new direction. "Am not there" aside the solo effort should prove to be a stripped down song oriented effort that encompasses genres such as; Adult alternative, Rockabilly, and folk.
Jake is a 30 something musician / composer living in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. While he has no illusions about the music business. He remains passionate about writing and performing. Jake says, "I feel that I am writing at the best level I ever have and that somehow the best is yet to come."
