I live near Portglenone in beautiful N. Ireland and I am married with two grown up sons. Portglenone is situated in Co. Antrim, home of nine green glens and a fantastic coast road. I am a Christian and most of the poems I write are inspired by my faith and the beautiful landscape I see everyday, hence my title, Countrypoet. I would love to have been a singer but I am not blessed that way but I do have some poems recorded as songs sung by proper singers! My favourite music is Country Gospel and especially Irish Country Gospel!
