negative (lee nyce) is not an 'average hip hop artist', nor does his story resemble that of an 'average rapper'. From his middle school science teacher burning his rhyme-book to his father burning his first demo on the front lawn - it goes without saying that negative's fought for every ounce of respect while finding himself within the music. It wasn't until meeting Kill-Matix (an aspiring Pittsburgh emcee) online that negative's 'true sound' was created by mixing verbal & witty lyrics with musically eclectic sample heavy production, creating what negative & Kill-Matix (illegal prophets) deem 'mangled soul'. And with negative's style now defined as a 'breath of fresh air' his upcoming debut ("Moms Was My Roommate") is set to re-vamp the culture & take back what Hip Hop has lost - creativity & originality.
