Born into a large extended family with Appalachian roots, singer/songwriter, David Paul Sherman draws on his faith and life experience to tell stories of everyday life and the struggles of the Christian walk. Growing up with over 40 aunts and uncles and 64 first cousins, David has a wealth of memories and experiences from which to draw. From sitting on Grandma Dixie’s lap learning about the Lord, to attending church in the hills of eastern Kentucky, David’s Christian heritage drives his passion to spread the Gospel. His new album “Living Love” is a great mix of old and new country, which will speak to your heart and draw you closer to God. This new project speaks directly to the foundation of the New Testament message that Jesus died for our sins, and His grace and forgiveness are available to all who will receive them. David’s current single “He Took The Nails” peaked at #33 on the PowerSource Christian Country chart. His song “Gonna Be Alright” was #2 on the SoundClick Christian Country Chart. And “Wonder What Jesus Would Say” has made it to #7 on the True Spirit Powered Christian Radio Top 20 weekly show. David has had the songs he wrote played by a variety of artists... Charlie Pride, Barbara Fairchild, Alabama, and Rarely Herd. He has played at BB Kings, Legends Corner, Tootsies, The Solid Rock Bistro, The Holiday Inn Express Ballroom, and the Trinity Broadcasting Network Auditorium (aka Twitty City)... all located in Nashville, but he plays at venues and churches all over the country... anywhere he's invited! David feels blessed to have played on the same stage with country artists Jeff Bates, Confederate Railroads “Cody McCarver,” Ricky Skaggs, The Roys, and Terri Clark.
