Jay Quest got them beats, This young up in coming producer from Rochester NY has made a name for him self in the upstate New York area. Some people may remember the 2006 cd (Jay Quest vs 9th wonder) that made lots of noise and had mc's all over Rochester,Buffalo and Syracuse New York talking and wondering who new kid was because of his grimy New York style and his raw gritty soulful sound and hard hitting drums. The cd had received over 12 write ups in magazines such as U.K.'s Ragomagazine.com, Rochester NY Insider and have been featured on many web sites. what was followed by his second cd in 2007 (Jay Quest vs GreenLantern) what sold almost 5,000 units and also have had over 12,000 downloads and was followed by his 3rd instrumental cd (Jay Quest Beats) what was hosted by Brooklyn's up in coming mc skyzoo. Jay Quest Beats have caught the ears of many up in coming artist such as Mag, L.i., Nikal Fieldz, Rich London and many more. 2008 was Jay Quest break he had made his first album placement on Gang starr foundation member Big Shug's album (Other Side Of The Game) and have also started colaberatin with well knowing local and well knowing underground artist such as Reks, Skyzoo, Ny Oil, Craig G, Kieth Murry, PumpkinHead and J Hood. All I can say is this kid is nice and i see him doing big things in the next 5 years to come.
