I am 21-years-old and live in Ottawa, Canada with my fiance Rich and my schnauzer Buddy (my boys!). Over the past few years my focus has been scattered from university, to work, to personal relationships. The real challenge has been trying to keep a healthy balance between them. (It's really alot harder than most people will give you credit for!) Now with wedding plans in the works for spring 2010, I am finding myself more distracted and excited than ever before!
I used to write alot of lyrics in my spare time but lost touch with my passion somewhere along the line....my hopes are to further explore my abilities and pick up where I left off. :)
At the present time, I rely solely on my singing and song writing talents as I do not play any musical instruments (although I'd love to learn!). I try to write all of my lyrics with different rhythms/tunes that I've created. In a nut shell...I know how I want each finished song to sound.... but do not have the "know-how" to get me there!
It would be great to collaborate with anyone who is willing to read my lyrics, hear my acapella voice recording, and compose the music for my songs. I am pretty stubborn when it comes to my music....but I definitely try to keep an open my and am open to suggestions....and yes.....the "C" words.....Constructive Criticism :)
