Born and raised on Long Island, Scott Neal aka "Scott Mix" was introduced to music at a very you age. Whether it was listening to his mom sing in the choir at church or his older brother creating hip hop tapes for him to listen to, Scott Mix was always being exposed to all genres of music. He picked up the alto saxaphone at age 8 and has been playing since. His passion and dedication for music is undeniable. A graduate of the Institute of Audio Research and currently a student at Five Towns College, Scott Mix has been working hard in learning every little aspect of Recording/Mixing/Producing. In January of 2010 SMX STUDIOS was constructed and completed. Inspired by so many engineers and producers Scott Mix continues to use his ambition to expand his knowledge and get ahead in the world of music.
