Jhardine is a British Gospel singer/songwriter and poet. This multi-talented artist says she began singing around foetal stage, and has never looked back. She plays the violin, is self teaching the piano, and has even tried the trumpet!
Having always sung in church- early in life Jhardine became the lead singer for the Leeds Jazz rock orchestra winning the gold medal in a national competition, has been in various musicals and plays at the West Yorkshire playhouse, her passion for young people led her to direct Rising Notes Project- a creative arts group in Leeds. Eventually, Jhardine decided to independently record her own album called ‘EDIFY’ in 2003 which brought us songs like “Alpha and Omega” and “They Said”, and she is now releasing with her sophomore repetoire...
As a vocalist, Jhardine fuses a variety of her tastes in music into her songs, and has become well known for the style, uniqueness and clarity of her themes. Her distinct rich and powerful tone is warming to every heart and soul, as this dynamo conducts a no nonsense approach to her faith.
