John is a strange character. Most days he keeps to himself but he has been known to smile and say hello to strangers and give spare change to men with bad neck ties from time to time.
Most days he occupies his time by writing and recording music that only makes sense to him, photographing small flowers on the side of the highway, staring at the night sky, perusing thrift stores, reading, and writing fictional accounts of non-fictional characters involved in all sorts of situations that would explain why they decided to wear those particular shoes that day and why the pretty girls have black eyes.
