Should musicians rejoice in the fact that, slowly but surely major record companies are dying a slow agonizing death? I guess that depends on where one's loyalties lie; artistic whore-ship or artistic liberation? It pleases me till I giggle, the fact that these plastic corporate tyrant suited robot swines, sitting behind their plastic desks on the upper most floors ( obviously to be as far away from the real world as possible ) are clinging to anything nailed down for dear life as their plastic piggy empire topples and burns.Pork chops anyone? I prey I see the day where the Indie Label rules! The day where musical and in this case, personal integrity is restored, the day where there is no corporate, manufactured flavor of the month. No more Captain Swine and his Leiutenant Producer ordering about their mindless creature who's only duties are to follow orders and paint by numbers, do as you're told and don't step out of line and we won't sue you.Beg my pardon but, is THAT what music is all about? Sadly for the suits, not anymore................................. I could'nt be more happy and for that matter, more grateful for the existance of sites like S.C and any and all like this one,to give anyone in the world the oportunity to showcase their creations of art. To establish new relationships and to network with other incredibly talented musicians, which there happens to be a great abundence of here! And perhaps, maybe even be able to make a couple of bucks as well. We're all in this together, to help,to advise and to encourage and push each other to be the best that we can be. If you think about it, regardless if we personaly know one another or not,we are all a world wide family. It's time to reclaim the power and bring the music back to the musicians. I thank anyone who has given their time to read this.
