CHRIS MEEKS, SON OF JERRY MEEKS,THE SON OF CARLIE LUCAS MEEKS, JERRY, A CRAZY COON ASS FROM WAY OUT IN THE WOODS OF LOUISIANA, RAN ALL OVER, FROM THE EAST COAST TO THE WEST COAST AND LANDED IN HOUSTON TX. SOME ODD 20 YEARS LATER AFTER SOME OF HIS CRAZY ASS EXCURSIONS, ONLY TO HAVE A SON KNOWN AS THE LORD OF THE FREAKS THAT HE WOULD NEVER DREAMED OF HAPPNING. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING GUITAR SINCE I WAS IN JR. HIGH SCHOOL, WANTED TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY AFTER I HAD A FRIEND OF MINE INTRODUCE ME TO SOME DEEP PURPLE THE SONG, SMOKE ON THE WATER, I HAD TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR AFTER SEEING MY FRIEND BEING ABLE TO PLAY A FEW RIFFS FROM A FEW WELL KNOWN BANDS, ESPECIALLY BLACK SABBATH. I LEARNED HOW TO PLAY AFTER SEEING HOW TO MAKE POWER CHORDS FROM MY FRIEND. AFTER HE SHOWED ME HOW TO MAKE A POWER CHORD, THEN I TOOK IT FROM THERE ON MY OWN. THE REASON WHY I PICKED UP THIS INSTRUMENT WAS BECAUSE OF THE MOST AWESOME POWERFUL DISTORTION SOUND IT MADE. I WANTED TO FEEL AND TO CREATE THIS POWERFUL SOUND FOR MYSELF. I TRIED TO PLAY WITH A FEW BANDS BUT, NOTHING SERIOUS UNTIL THE DAWN OF LORD OF THE FREAKS. LOOKING FORWARD TO WORLD TOURS, EXPLORING FORGEIN COUNTRIES THAT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT, AND OF COURSE SITE SEEING ALONG THE WAY. I'M A CREATOR AND AUTHOR OF A FEW SHORT FILMS AND MUSIC VIDEOS. I PRODUCE AND DIRECT ALL MY OWN CREATIONS UP TO THIS POINT IN TIME BUT, AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH OTHER PROFESSIONAL FILM PRODUCERS AND DIRECTORS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Lord of the Freaks is the First Cyber Industrial Rockband of the future on the internet. There is nothing physical about Lord of the freaks in the physical world except the materials, music equipment and the people that created the band. We are the first to bring to you everything totally digital, an all raw form of data. We are the first to create Cyber Rock. Yes, that's correct we created an all new style and gnere of music, cyber rock.
