In life you need 'focus', to focus on a 'dream'. We need our dreams to set our 'aims' in order to 'succeed'. To succeed we need the 'faith', the faith in ourselves to 'believe'. That with that faith we'll live our dream until the day we 'achieve'. Bless

I pose this question as it seems it been so long since I've passed through the portals of Soundclick. It's like taking a blast back to the future, so to speak. We travel along the passage of life with time as our guide. Some of this time we lose along the way, some we can reclaim and on other occassions we can actually gain time. Time is of the essence, to everything we want to succeed in or achieve. Time is a guide we need to follow, as it tracks us every step of the way. It's great to tour across the avenues of Soundclick and see both the familiar faces and new faces that have surfaced. For me it's like going back to my roots, so to speak, as it was on Soundclick I came across one of the first producers I worked with, namely Sinima. SInce then I've been on and still on a musical journey, learning, achieving, developing, and of course a few mistakes along the way. But mistakes help us to grow, to further strengthen our weaknesses. It has been like being on a different planet, as I've been exploring different avenues, not to mention the balancing of everyday life. Music is the one element that keeps us all grounded. Music is our rock and salvation and we rely on it more than we do the technology of today. Music and song are like a marriage with a solid vow, to honour, obey and cherish, not to mention respect and love. Anyway, I hope you've all been enjoying your our personal journey along lifes path of both music and song. I just had to touch down on some of these "Super Stars" and their, so called Diva ways. They're worth millions and have endless funds at their disposal, so when I hear of them demanding free food and drinks when they show up at a launch of their OWN merchandise, that they want others to BUY, it just makes me think in disbelief. These artists aren't short on money etc, so what makes them feel so special and act like Kings and Queen, expecting people to lay rose petals at their feet and give them everything for free? Not only that but then they go and ban the PAYING public, who's paid to be there, from using the toilets etc. Now I know with stardom comes a price (no pun intended), but is it greed, stupidity. selfishness or just plain forgetting your roots and where you came from before you made it to such heights? I can say if I were to be so lucky to be in such a position, I wouldn't expect or demand anything like it. If I went somewhere etc, it would always go on a tab to be PAID for out of my pot of gold. And in regards to the toilet issue, I wouldn't demand that either. If it was a case of me worried about my own personal safety from over eager fans or even unscrupalous people wanting to cause me harm, then I'd have a highly trained bunch of security with me etc. Maybe it's just the way I've been brought up, maybe it's because it's easy for me to say as I'm not in their position. Well I can assure you it's not the latter. Money drives some of these artists loopy. They're not mega stars, more like they've taken a knock to the head and seeing too many stars to remember how to be humane towards others or to drop the "I can have what I like and do what I like" attitude. Don't see this as sour grapes, it just grieves me to see how these people act etc. You'll read their stories of how they came from a broken home, without money to spend or shoes on their feet etc. How their parents struggled to make ends meet etc. But they soon forget how to respect their fans and fellow human public when they've hit the high life.
