“There’s not a lot of anonymity in my music.”
Marc Pierce describes his songs as “soul-searching stories of love gone awry.” For the most part, his are tales of woe: of the women that wouldn’t stay, and the ones who stayed too long. But don’t be misled. Rather than being the sad, cry-in-your-beer tunes that we’re all used to, Marc uses his satirical wit and command of word play to make his songs uplifting for the downtrodden. Rounding out Marc’s original material are songs about dogs, chickens, social networking, Santa Claus, and fishing.
