I had a stroke on Jan. 2010 and have not been back here. I could not read or write for awhile because of it. I had a lot of good friends here. I hope you are still there. I diffidently think differently to life than I did before my stroke. It is all good. Life close to death makes you smarter. I love you all. Positive Cynic

remeber when soundclick used to be the bomb? we could share and laugh and have friends all over the world. now facebook and twitter have taken over the world and it was only a few years ago that we owned it. too many options lead to too many decisions which lead to too much confusion and then your friends disappear. technology is a blessing and a curse. is there too much information? are disguarded friends still friends or do we just put them in the recycle bin to be deleted later. and when you open the recycle bin to delete them forever, they are stiil on your hard drive somewhere, waiting to be re-discovered. but you have to really look for them and when you finally find them, they are fragmented.

My first blog on soundclick: You know what? I have come to an important crossroad in my life and I know that all of you care deeply about this. I'm going to stop bloggin' and start writin' again. But now that I think about it I'm writing right know. Is blogging really writing or is writing really blogging? Somewhere there is someone that understands this and I hope that he or she lets me know what I am talking about. I know that this may be complicated, but isn't that what a real good song is anyway? Just a stream of conscieneness. The best songs just flow for no apparent reason. So I guess I'll keep blogging after all, just to piss everyone off even though you don't read it, but then again maybe you do. This is really stupid, yet profound. Thanks for reading, or not.

Thanks for the three dots on my map whoever you are. There have been no dots for three days so that is cool. When the problems of life converge with the problems of death, then you have a serious problem and unfortunately death always wins. Problems are supposed to be solved, but the problem of death is only solved by those who have already experienced it, and they are not talking the last time I checked. So here's a toast to the grave. When I die put me naked face down in the casket with "fuck you" tattoed on my ass. god bless

There are 3 planes of consciouness. The first is the mundane. The need for sustinance and watching American Idol. 99% of the population exist soley on this plane. The second plane is creativity. The yearning to do something different, to make something out of nothing. To have the daring to delve into the spriritual realm, the realm of music and art. The third plane is true communion with God on earth. This is what the apostle Paul meant when he said he visited the Third Heaven. The second plane is the bridge between the first and third planes. We must understand this simple concept if we are ever to truly achieve peace on earth. Live in the music so the music can live in you. Music is a living thing born of ideas from the third plane. It is calling us to peace, now.
