Originally from Maryland (just outside DC), John Jackson Craig a.k.a. "JQwess" was born March 30, 1980. This self-proclaimed "nobody" died on June 16th 2002. Yet no one mourned... no one shed a tear. Cries of rejoicing were heard instead! Christ had taken his sinful life and made it His. So now it is no longer "JQwess"... but Christ living through him!
Is he perfect? No!... Flawless? Definetly not!... Yet he strivez for perfection! Not to boast in himself or his skillz... but to give God tha' glory! Any boasting he does... he will boast in Christ... for "J" to live is Christ n' 2 die is gain!
When "JQwess" switched up tha' secular flow to rap for Christ... he was given the nick name "Johnny Quest". In his childhood years everybody called him "Johnny" until the age of 15. When you take the name Johnny and merge it with Quest... you end up with the code name "JQwess". It was "Johnny's" quest for God that brought him thus far... but his life has been no cartoon. He has faced many trials and tribulations... but has... and will continue to perservere until he has attained the prize which God has called him forward in Christ Jesus. To Him be the praise, glory and honor forever! Amen.
