Donna Ray a native of Massachusetts who moved to Louisiana when she was 17.
Donna is currently signed with Echota Recording Studio, Ed Gowen – owner and producer. Stardust Records Col. Buster Doss, Barbara Doss Brewer, Barnstorm Records
Miss Donna Ray, a member of the Louisiana Hayride, was voted Artist of the Year 2007 and 2008 for her C.D. “Broken Dreams.” and Awarded # 1 Song This Winters Day. Donna started performing at age 7 and later recorded songs that her mother had written for a demo. From a musical family, when Donna was young her father played with a band named Alabama Ray and the Goat Hill Rambler.
Donna Ray Was Presented the Award for Female Artist Of The Year For Traditional / Classic Country Music 2016 At The Josie Awards Show At The Schermerhorn Symphony Center In Nashville Tenn Sept 18th 2016
Donna Ray Artist of the year 2007. Song of the Year ( This Winters Day ) 2008 Artist of the Year 2008 Echota Records, Female Artist of the Year 2009 Artist Of The Year 2010, Artist Of The Year 2011 and Artist Of The Year 2012 Echota Records. Donna Ray recorded a song that was written By Ed Gowens Called That Old Martin Guitar and has had this song on the Indie Charts for many years. Donna Has recorded for many writers throught out her career and has had fun recording.
Donna Ray has been chosen January 2007"and 2008 Artist of the Month" and also in November of 2007 Artist of the month on the UK Country Station KHBW Country Radio Live 365 Singing her Two New Singles Carrying Memories and Broken Dreams, This Winters Day and so many more.
