contemporary classical, improv, and experimental: nature-connected, poetry-inspired
I'm a classical composer. I've written lots of music for strings, brass, woodwinds, mandolin ensemble. Songs, choral music too. Many recent pieces have been connected to poetry, either inspired by it, or setting it for voice. I especially like to work with local poets here in eastern Massachusetts. Much of my music is inspired by nature, especially my choral works. I also record nature soundscapes.
