Originally from Texas J OCT is a rising Hip Hop/R&B Producer and Co-Owns Sno State Records™ with his business partner Wayne Moodie pka- King Nock. He is also and former Rap/R&B Artist out of Montpelier,VT that started making music back in 1999. J OCT is well known for his unique style and sound as a Producer. In 2006 he and his friend Dougie-J dropped their rap group 2DR's debut album titled "Don't F*** Around" which was a very unsuccessful project. In the year of 2007 the two artists went their separate ways due to personal issues. Within that time J OCT Pursued a career as just a producer and was successful but was not fully satisfied. J OCT could not keep himself from the sound box and recording. So he worked on a demo album Titled "Real Talk" which was a was a local success, so J OCT stepped his game up and got peoples attention all over with his official CD "I'm Back", featuring artists such as "Kingpin of TFR,Young Marquis, Quis,Logan Chapman,Stevie Jay & Many More"!!! J OCT has been working hard since the birth of Sno State Records to make beats that are #1 Hit Quality & Worthy and that will also get Sno State Records Artists, as well as Artists in Vermont and contributing artists from around the world not only local & national,but WORLDWIDE attention and recognition!!! Thanx for your honest feedback and/or opinion. I had the courtesy to put up there that it was a "cover" of the song as to not insult Pacs work. If you look up disrespect in the dictionary its definition is "lack of courtesy" and "show a lack of respect for; insult". A lot of popular artists are "disrespectful", so you say by doing covers of other peoples songs and on top of that they market it by putting it on an album. That track, my version will never be on an album, that would be disrespectful.
