Has Anyone Here Seen My Old Friend, J.P.???
Aug 14, 2008
It has taken me 5 months to write this.
I apologize to J.P., but my hesitation does not come because I was not completely honored or blessed by meeting this wonderful young Godly man, but actually because I was waiting for something from him.
I didn’t know what it was until he told me about his trip to the Tellagavaram village.
It has come and now it’s time to write.
I met J.P. here on ShoutLife.
You may know him as J.P. of Beloved’s Ministries.
He lives in India.
He is Vice-Chairman working closely with his brother in the education and ministry of the orphanage.
In the days preparing for my journey to India, he mentioned that he would make every effort to come visit with me. Little did I realize that he would travel 9 grueling hours on a train just to make this happen!!!
I will never forget the minute I first saw him, tall, handsome, and dressed so American.
Crisply pressed white dress shirt, dress trousers and wing-tip shoes.
His eyes dark, warm and friendly.
His smile seemed to melt away all the poverty and sadness of his surroundings.
His words, soft and humble. “I am J.P.â€
Bowing down from his 6 foot 2 stature to my 5 foot 2 frame, ever so gently and graciously.
After a few minutes of greetings, I found that he was very educated and can speak English fluently.
YEAH!! We could talk and talk we did!!!
He stayed with Lloyd (my husband) and me on the “Father’s House†campus for the entire 3 days of the crusade. He translated, worked, loved the children and was a tremendous blessing to all of us!!
I LOVE HIS HEART AND HIS DRIVE FOR JESUS CHRIST AND HIS LOVE FOR HIS PEOPLE!!!
J.P. with “Chitti†– little girl in “Father’s House†orphanage.
J.P. translating to “Telagu†during day crusade meetings.
This young man could be anything in life that he wanted to be.
YET
He chooses to be an evangelist for the Lord Jesus Christ.
AND
It is a very volatile and dangerous area for Christian ministry.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon ME, because HE hath anointed ME to preach the Gospel to the poor; HE hath sent ME to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,…†Luke 4:18
Please click on the below links and read about J.P.’s latest blog “The Trip†and pray about being a sponsor for him. He has a very easy means for you to give.
You may not realize that even $10.00 goes a long way in helping in India.
Jesus Hugs,
Jazzy Jax

It's All About The Children!
Mar 5, 2008
(From: The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams)
“What is REAL?" asked the Rabbit one day, when they were lying side by side near the nursery fender, before Nana came to tidy the room.
"Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you. "Does it hurt?" asked the Rabbit.
"Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. "When you are Real you don't mind being hurt."
Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand." ……

Look at the beautiful 5-year-old girl. Her name is Suseela.
This is her 4-year-old little sister, Chitti.
Lloyd and I immediately feel in love with these 2 little girls. They would run to your feet, grab your hands and kiss you. They are playful and happy and very content. But, not always so.
Approximately a year ago, Pastor Moses at “The Father’s House” received a call from a pastor in the big city of Hyderabad asking if he come and get 2 little girls who were completely alone. Their parents had both died and for a year their only means of survival was by begging on the streets. They were lost in a sea of 12 million people!!!
Pastor Moses did get them. Him and his precious wife are now embracing them as their very own. They no longer have to beg for food. I thank the Lord each day for the mission of Pastor Moses and Sister Katta!
They are bathed, fed, loved and taught about Jesus every day.
This is just one story. Each child has their own heartbreaking tale if loneliness, abandonment that has been replaced by a beautiful melody of love and hope.
This photo captures the happy and blessed children of “The Father’s House”.
Every morning Lloyd and I were waked to them singing praises to the Lord and every night they rocked us to sleep with there sweet little voices.
They truly captured our hearts.

There is a beauty in the fact that the Lord lets us become real by degrees. He often puts us in relationships that will stretch us and cause us to be more open than we would have liked to be. He throws an extrovert into our introverted world and we become woozy in all the chaos.
Yet I am forever grateful I allowed the Lord to stretch me by way of India and these wonderful children!!
I found something I had been missing… Me!!!
The me that didn’t like to hide, or worry, or fake it!!!
The me that loves people with a fresh new perspective!!!
Yes! The orphan children at “My Father’s House” took my hand and led my heart to that place I had been missing for a long time. To the exact spot where I had left myself years before.
It was really good to find Jackie again.
I guess you could say that I look forward to the ever-increasing bald patches in this velveteen coat. It has become beautiful to me. I like having these patches, an
