3 years ago after being kicked out of school Shakey decided to follow hes dream of becoming a successful hip hop artist Moving from Gosford(Central Coast) to Redfern to start living with hes birth father and step mum in the Poets Corner Projects. A week later after chasing up a phone number from posters that had been posted around the area, he finnaly caught up with Basik the owner of BASIK SOUND (which was back then located on Pitt st, Redfern). The two chatted about studio time but after rapping to him, blown away by the 15 year old's skill. Basik ask Shakey to join the clique. Within a month of small performances and little studio time, he helped move the squad into the "LONDON TAVERN" on 105 regent st(then moving himself in, a year later). The run down 3 story building was the perfect setting for two & 1/2 years worth of Do-It-yourself renovations. The studio is now finished and ready to launch this year.(Already hosting spots for H8ted Musick, E2THEG & HYJAK'N'TORCHA)
