Classical pianist Stephen Kopp, a 2010 graduate of Mannes College of Music with a Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance, an Award Winner in Classical Piano received National Recognition as a talented teen artist among top 5% of Artistic talent nationwide according to National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, ARTS Awards program 2004. Stephen is also a 2nd prize winner of the 6th biennial Pinault International Piano Competition and received an Honorable Mention Award in the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition 2005.
With only a few years of formal studies, Stephen began performing at age 14 and had his New York City debut at Steinway Hall on January 16 2001 at age 15. Stephen was a student of Colombian Pianist Blanca Uribe and studied with Thomas Sauer.
Stephen also speaks Spanish and Japanese.
